Location: Billingham Start Date: ASAP Position: Full-time SEND Teaching Assistant Pay: Competitive, based on experience About the Role: Provide targeted support within a Year 1 class with high SEND needs Deliver learning and interventions at an Early Years level to meet individual pupil needs Support pupils with a range of SEND, including those with EHCPs Work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and wider support staff Help create a calm, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Support pupils with social, emotional, and developmental needs What We’re Looking For: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential) Previous experience supporting children with SEND Experience working within Early Years or Key Stage 1 is desirable A patient, caring, and adaptable approach Strong communication and teamwork skills This role is ideal for a committed SEND Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young children with additional needs and helping them thrive within a mainstream primary setting.
