CBW are currently seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a progressive and specialist contractor working directly with end-user clients across Scotlands Central Belt. This is a well-structured role with realistic workloads, strong administrative support, and systems in place to ensure engineers can focus on doing the job properly.
Salary & Benefits Package:
* Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
* Guaranteed additional income from call-outs (approx. £600 per year)
* 36-hour working week no excessive hours
* On-call rota approximately once every 6 weeks (often less frequent)
* Call-out payments: £100 weekend allowance + minimum 4 hours paid

o Saturday Time and a half

You will be working across a range of sectors including:

Work is primarily based within the Central Belt of Scotland, with occasional travel further north.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planned xsngvjr Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
* Reactive maintenance and emergency breakdown response
* Fault finding, diagnostics, and repair work
* Delivering effective first-time fixes where possible
* Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship
* Communicating clearly with clients and internal teams
Person Specification:
* F-Gas Category 1 certification
* NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
* Proven experience in a mobile AC Engineer role
* Strong background in commercial PPM and fault finding
* Full UK driving licence
