About the Company: Our client is a start-up Multi-Family Office founded in 2022, with a primary focus on the Far Eastern region. The firm offers bespoke, holistic, and independent family financial advice, specializing in wealth structuring, investment management, and corporate finance. As the company continues to grow, they are seeking a highly skilled Fund Operations Associate to support their expanding operations.

About the Role: The company is growing rapidly, and the successful candidate will gain broad exposure to all aspects of running a business, including financial products, dealing, operations, compliance, and regulatory responsibilities. No two days will be the same, as the role involves managing client cases at different stages of wealth planning, handling various projects, and collaborating with external partners from diverse sectors, each with their unique selling propositions (USPs).

* Private Banking & Custodianship: Work closely with private banks and custodians to support client-related operational tasks.
* Wealth Management Operations: Oversee wealth management business tasks such as trade reconciliation and assist client advisors with tasks, including client fact-finding, account opening, performance reporting, meeting minute-taking, and ad-hoc problem-solving.
* Client Onboarding & Compliance: Manage private client onboarding tasks, including KYC/AML processes and annual reviews, and perform ad-hoc compliance and regulatory tasks, with guidance from the MLRO and external regulatory consultants.

Candidate Requirements

* Experience: Proven experience handling the responsibilities described above.
* Independence: Ability to work independently and reliably, often serving as the sole point of contact for the tasks mentioned.

* Attention to Detail: Must have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently within tight timelines.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to understand complex information, take instructions, ask clarifying questions, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
* Personal Qualities: Inquisitive, trustworthy, reliable, tenacious, resilient, and thorough.
