Procurement Assurance Co-OrdinatorLocation: Birmingham (2 days per week in office)Rate: £350-£400 per day (inside IR35)Contract Length: 3–6 monthsThe RoleWe are seeking an organised, confident, and detail‑driven Procurement Assurance Co-Ordinator to manage the Procurement Assurance process within my client’smercial procurement team. This is a fast‑paced, high-profile role at the heart of procurementernance and decision-making. You will ensure robust assurance, transparency, and accountability across procurement activity, while providing high-quality secretariat support to senior meetings and boards.You will work closely with senior stakeholders, manage multiplepeting priorities, and play a key role in continuously improvingernance processes.Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the day-to-day management of the Procurement Assurance function, ensuringernance processes are robust, transparent, and consistently applied.
2. Process and manage multiple daily procurement assurance requests efficiently and accurately.
3. Maintainernance registers, policies, and decision records, ensuring timely reviews, approvals, and audit‑ready documentation
4. Provide end‑to‑end secretariat support for procurementernance meetings, including agendas, papers, minutes, decision reports, and action tracking
5. Produce clear and accurate Decision Reports within 24 hours of meetings
6. Act as a key link between the Assurance Team and CPS Operations, ensuring clear and effectivemunication.
7. Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and promote consistent understanding ofernance requirements
8. Identify and drive continuous improvement, including opportunities for automation and process streamlining
9. Provideernance and secretariat support to other senior boards and working groups as required
