About Us
We are a specialist retailer in the hydroponics and horticulture industry, selling online through Shopify, eBay, and Amazon. We're looking for a dedicated Ecommerce Assistant to take full ownership of our website optimisation and support the day-to-day management of our online platforms.
About the Role
This hands-on role combines ecommerce operations and online content updates. You'll be responsible for the websites, eBay and Amazon accounts, making sure they are all up to date and addressing any account issues. You'll also work closely with our shop staff and mail order department to keep stock levels accurate and ensure all listings reflect current availability.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and update website content and product listings via Shopify
* Adjust product pricing, stock levels, and archive discontinued items
* Handle minor technical updates and manage apps within the Shopify platform
* List products on eBay based on market demand; manage reporting for eBay and Amazon
* Work closely with shop and mail order staff to maintain accurate stock data
* Respond to customer reviews and submit parcel claims when needed
* Produce weekly, monthly, and annual ecommerce performance reports
What We're Looking For
* Experience using Shopify
* Familiar with ecommerce operations and product listing processes
* Excellent written English and attention to detail
* Confident handling spreadsheets and basic data reporting
* Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
* Willingness to collaborate with in-store staff and mail order team
