Job Title: Binding Authority Technician
Location: City of London, EC3
Salary: £40,000 - £65,000 plus benefits & discretionary bonus
Working Pattern: Perm - Hybrid - 1 day a week office based
Class of Business: Non Marine
About the Role
We are seeking an Insurance/Reinsurance Technician with knowledge of Binding Authorities to join an independent Lloyd’s Broker based in the heart of the insurance market as a Binding Authority Technician
Responsibilities
* Production and processing of Binding Authority contracts and slips, risk and premium bordereaux for company and connected companies
* Handle multiple classes of business, mainly Non Marine and across International territories
* Submitting documentation to Lloyd’s and Companies via Xchanging, using Accounting and Settlement and delinking where applicable, for bulk closings and facultative business
* Assisting with the resolution of technical queries and liaising with producers, clients, underwriters and Xchanging as required
* Preparation of Premium Advice Notes (LPANs), closings and closing endorsements
* Use of DCOM & Atlas besides additional insurance systems
