This role is based in the Pharmacy Department at Forth Valley Royal Hospital and offers the opportunity to work across a variety of areas, including Cancer outpatient clinics, Inpatient wards and the Aseptic Unit

The post offers a rotation through the dispensary and the pharmacy aseptic (sterile) unit, providing essential support to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Key responsibilities include:
* Dispensing chemotherapy and medicines for side-effect management
* Stock control and coordinating medicines delivery
* Environmental monitoring
* Assembly and transfer of products for aseptic manufacture
* Administrative tasks
Due to the critical and sensitive nature of our work, you will be expected to maintain the highest standards of discipline and personal hygiene. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and cleanroom behaviours is essential at all times.
Full aseptic training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in this specialised area
Previous pharmacy experience is essential. We are looking for candidates who hold a dispensing assistant S/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.

The pharmacy department provides a 7 day service and these posts will include the requirement to work occasional weekends and public holidays on a rota with other staff.
