Following the completion of training and once the candidate has demonstrated competency in their work, there will be the option to work from home, provided that the daily tasks and responsibilities of the team are still being fulfilled. As a member of the administrative team, your primary responsibility will be to provide customer-focused and efficient administrative support. You will prioritise your daily tasks in accordance with team requirements and service objectives. You will be expected to deliver a wide range of administrative tasks to a high standard of quality within the agreed timeframes. This may include taking notes during complex, sensitive, and confidential meetings, arranging large-scale events and meetings, coordinating statutory panels, presenting information in a clear format, preparing reports and agendas, creating accurate meeting minutes and spreadsheets, and updating council IT systems to support service delivery. You may be required to work at a designated office, provide remote support, or work flexibly across WSCC office hubs, depending on the needs of the service. You will need to demonstrate personal resilience, integrity, and professionalism when participating in sensitive, potentially disturbing, or highly confidential meetings or processes.
