Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Fund Controller (Living) to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary and 12% car allowance.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of residential property funds, including build-to-rent, affordable housing, and student accommodation. You’ll work closely with fund managers, investors and third-party providers to deliver strong financial outcomes and support the growth of innovative investment products.
Responsibilities
* Supporting fund and asset management teams in delivering fund strategy and structuring transactions
* Providing financial planning, budgeting, and stress testing to promote value for investors
* Reviewing and signing off high-risk financial outputs from outsourced administrators
* Ensuring accurate and timely financial and regulatory reporting
* Advising on financial performance indicators and risk mitigation strategies
* Acting as a trusted adviser to internal stakeholders on fund-related financial matters
* Leading financial input into onboarding new products, assets, and suppliers
* Presenting financial insights to internal boards and external investors
Qualifications
* A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Strong experience in private markets or real assets fund finance
* In-depth knowledge of UK residential property funds and fund structures
* Proficiency in fund accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
* Ability to analyse financial performance and communicate insights clearly
* Experience working with third-party administrators and internal stakeholders
* Confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders and external clients
* A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
