Our Mathematics department is a thriving and highly respected department within our school. The Mathematics Department at Y Pant has a long-standing reputation for excellence, consistently across Key Stage 3, GCSE and A Level. The department plays a vital role in upholding the school’s high academic standards and contributes significantly to Y Pant’s ongoing success and continuous improvement.
Comprising a team of well-qualified, experienced and dedicated professionals the department operates collaboratively to deliver high-quality mathematics education. Teamwork and a shared commitment to excellence underpin the department’s approach, ensuring that all students benefit from engaging, challenging and well-structured learning experiences.
The successful candidate will be expected to integrate seamlessly into this supportive and high-achieving team. All teaching staff within the department are required to deliver lessons across the full age and ability range, fostering high standards of attainment and behaviour in every class.
