QA Automation Engineer
As a QA Automation Engineer (Associate level), you will join an elite engineering squad tasked with evolving a sophisticated .NET automation ecosystem. This is a role for a \"Quality Developer\", someone who wants to build, break, and optimize systems that the global financial market relies on every single day.
The Technical Stack
* The Backbone: C# / .NET Core for robust automation development.
* Behavioral Testing: BDD implementation using SpecFlow or Reqnroll.
* Modern UI & API: Advanced automation utilizing Playwright and Selenium for both interface and deep-layer REST API validation.
* Cloud-Native Infra: Working within Azure environments, specifically leveraging AKS (Kubernetes) and Service Bus architectures.
* CI/CD & AI: Fully integrated pipelines via GitHub Actions (YAML), with an active culture of using AI tools (Copilot, LLMs, MCPs) to accelerate framework builds.
Your Impact
* Architecting Quality: Partner with senior leads to design and maintain scalable regression suites that support complex, event-driven financial products.
* Deep-Dive Analysis: Move beyond surface-level checks; you will utilize SQL and exploratory techniques to identify root causes within high-velocity messaging streams (FIX, Swift, XML, JSON).
* Pipeline Mastery: Own the quality gate within the CI/CD lifecycle, ensuring automated triggers and data quality checks are seamless and fail-safe.
* Agile Innovation: Contribute to a culture that prioritizes Clean Code and innovative testing methodologies, including performance and load testing with tools like NeoLoad.
Who You Are
* The FinTech Specialist: You have a commercial background in finance, payments, or high-stakes transactional systems.
* Code-First Mindset: You are proficient in C# and understand object-oriented principles, design patterns, and how to write maintainable test code.
* Naturally Curious: You aren't satisfied with a \"pass\" result—you want to understand the underlying infrastructure, from Azure microservices to relational database integrity.
Package & Culture
* Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum.
* Rewards: Competitive annual bonus + comprehensive company benefits.
* Environment: A \"no-micromanagement\" zone. You’ll have the autonomy to innovate in a fast-moving, agile setting.
* Flexibility: A balanced Hybrid model out of a prime Central London location.
