Veterinary Surgeon (GP) – Lincoln Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 DOE Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (39 hours) Working Pattern: 4 days per week 1 in 4 weekends About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Veterinary Surgeon with General Practice (GP) experience to join a modern, purpose-built veterinary practice in Lincoln. This role is ideally suited to a Veterinary Surgeon with 3 years’ experience, who is confident delivering high-quality first opinion care and committed to promoting preventive healthcare and animal wellbeing. The successful candidate will play a key role within a supportive and collaborative clinical team, providing exceptional care to pets while building strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties Deliver high-quality consultations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures Provide outstanding first opinion veterinary care with a focus on preventive medicine and evidence-based treatment Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date clinical records Promote internal referrals and collaborate with colleagues to achieve the best clinical outcomes Team Collaboration Work closely with veterinary nurses and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care Support Schedule 3 procedures within the nursing team Follow clinical guidance from the Head Vet and contribute positively to team culture Operational Excellence Adhere to all practice protocols, SOPs, and clinical standards Ensure compliance with best practice and professional guidelines Working Pattern & Environment Full-time: 39 hours per week 4-day working week 1 in 4 weekends 30-minute lunch break per shift 1 hour of dedicated admin time per shift Flexible and part-time working options available by agreement This is a physically active role requiring long periods on your feet in a busy clinical environment.
