Role: Teaching Assistant SEMH
Salary: £23 - £27k per Annum
Location: Teaching Assistant SEMH
Hours: 40 hours per week - Term Time only - Start time 8.15am -3:30pm
Join our dynamic team in Crawley as a SEMH Teaching Assistant. Your role will involve supporting classroom activities, helping students with special educational needs, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver clear feedback on behaviour, attitudes, and peer interactions.
* Maintain positive behaviour and focus, adjusting strategies when challenges arise.
* Create a supportive and safe learning environment through strong pupil relationships.
* Promote independence and uphold high behavioural expectations.
* Support lesson delivery by implementing and adapting planned activities.
* Reinforce teaching concepts and ensure resources are prepared.
* Contribute to a well-rounded curriculum that supports pupil achievement.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A patient, caring and positive attitude
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
* Previous experience working with children in a school setting
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable
