We are pleased to be recruiting for a Project Manager (Process Engineering) on behalf of our industry leading client, who manufactures world famous consumer household cleaning & personal hygiene products.
We are seeking an adept Process Engineering Project Manager with a degree in process engineering or equivalent field, to lead and oversee projects related to process improvements and optimisation. With a background in process engineering, the ideal candidate will harmonise engineering principles with project management techniques to deliver efficient and innovative solutions. This is a 12 month assignment.

What you will be doing:
The PM will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading projects from ideation through to completion in Home Care making business unit capable of liaising with numerous stakeholders, applying good planning principles.

1. Design comprehensive project plans integrating process engineering principles with company goals.
2. Collaborate with R&D, production, and other departments to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
3. Determine the resources, both human and technical, required for successful project completion.
4. Lead the site execution works for the capital projects,
5. Interface management with contractors for safety, quality and schedule control
6. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel,
7. Lead and deliver PSI, IQ & OQ for capital projects (technology as per the role)
8. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
9. Track project milestones and deliverables.
10. Continuously monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders.
11. Implement project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
12. Process and technical safety compliance on design/scope
13. Ensure Legal compliance on HSE through consultation with central risk group,
14. Ensure that safety is considered the TOP priority with all stake-holders (Especially contractors through regular tool-box talks, communication plans and documented procedures)
15. Regular BOS and OFS tours
The Hours:
08:00 to 16:00 - some flexibility will be allowed
The Days:
Monday to Friday
The Location:
Grays, West Thurrock, Essex
Pay and Benefits:
£55,000 to £75,000 dependant on experience paid as an hourly or daily rate

About you:
23. Ability to read, interpret mechanical specs, pipework drawings & layout drawings (P&IDs) & equipment layouts,
24. Strong problem-solving mastery, be able to troubleshoot issues and define countermeasures,
25. Competent on MS software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams & Outlook),
26. Good communication skills (written and verbal)
27. Collaboration skills to work across site and with external resources,
28. Project management skills (Critical path development, Gannt Chart etc.)
29. Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering, or a related field,
