We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Technician to join a well-established industrial processing facility based in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation operating within a critical infrastructure environment.
The role will focus on delivering planned and reactive maintenance activities, supporting plant reliability, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver planned maintenance (PM) schedules in line with site maintenance plans
Carry out reactive and corrective maintenance to minimise downtime
Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions to maintain production performance
Support and deliver improvement projects aimed at increasing plant reliability and reducing costs
Assess malfunctioning equipment and provide technical recommendations to site management
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Electro-Technical Installations (or equivalent), or:
City & Guilds 2365-2 (Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations)
City & Guilds 2357-3 (Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnology)
City & Guilds 2382 (17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
Full UK driving licence
Experience carrying out electrical maintenance in a fast-paced industrial, manufacturing, or production environment
Working knowledge of CMMS systems and electrical plant equipment
Strong understanding of proactive maintenance strategies and condition monitoring
Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
