BESTUITION LTD – a multi-award-winning professional organisation offering private tuition to students of all ages and abilities, in a range of subjects within Derbyshire and surrounding areas across the UK
Candidates required who are available IMMEDIATELY for private tutoring, in the CHESTERFIELD AREA for KS2 - KS4 SEND Pupils.
PLEASE NOTE: This position is 1-1, Face-to-Face Only. NOT on-line.
CANDIDATES:
* Must speak English fluently,
* Must be available immediately,
* Must have SEND experience,
* Must hold a UK driving licence,
* Must have their own transport,
* Must be able to travel within 40 minutes, to jobs in this area.
Your CV MUST show a clear work history either within a school classroom as a Teacher/HLTA/TA and/or specific Tutoring for SEND pupils.
PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT currently offer sponsorship or relocation packages.
Due to the number of applications we receive, we are unable to respond to every applicant. We aim to respond to all successful applicants within 2 days
This position is initially for 5 -10 hours a week.
Although a teaching qualification is not required, experience and references are.
This position is subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
You must be Organised, Approachable, Patient and Reliable.
The work will be planned with you, and the student arranged for you.
You may choose to be PAYE or SELF-EMPLOYED, & will be paid monthly for hours worked

SEND Tutor and Teacher role requirements:
* Experience: 1+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic, therapeutic and trauma-informed way
* Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
* Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
* Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / on-line jobs
* Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
The SEND Tutor and Teacher role and responsibilities:
* Provide in person, occasionally on-line Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
* Support students, (referred by Local Authorities & schools), ranging from KS1 - KS5 (as appropriate for your skills)
* Plan and deliver flexible, holistic, therapeutic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
* Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
* We are on a mission to raise the standard of education provided to young people with SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such as SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). We are increasingly supporting children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), and PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties).
