Main Job purpose;
* Co-ordinate and supervise the cleaning staff to ensure the school is cleaned to a high standard.
* Keyholder responsibilities and will be required to lock up the school at the end of the school day
* You will be required to lock up and assist in the management of any ad hoc school lettings
* General handyperson, painting, general maintenance and gardening tasks
* Undertake water compliance checks for the hub of schools (would need to be able to drive)
We are looking for someone who has;
We will provide full training if you have not worked within a school before but ideally we are looking for:
* Previous experience working in a caretaker position
* Has proven experience with general maintenance work and gardening
* Knowledge of health & safety regulations that are relevant to the post, including using relevant machinery and products
* Ability to work autonomously, managing your own workload
* Excellent communicator, comfortable engaging with members of the public and our children
