Responsibilities
1. Lead the engineering department, mentoring direct reports like the Maintenance and Facilities Managers.
2. Oversee CapEx projects from inception to completion, ensuring the highest standards of quality and timeliness.
3. Collaborate across product management, design, and operations to align engineering efforts with strategic objectives.
4. Champion continuous improvement—deploying Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma, optimizing process flow and machine performance.
5. Manage budgets, timelines, resource allocation, contracts, FAT, and URLs.
6. Support successful rollouts of new products and packaging changes, ensuring seamless scale-up from pilot to full production.
7. Use operational data, KPIs, and Gemba walks to identify and execute optimization opportunities.
8. Enhance team capabilities through coaching, training, and comprehensive documentation.
9. Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, quality, authenticity, and legal standards.
10. Collaborate with other group sites to share best practices and implement common improvements.
