Quantity Surveyor Civil & Electrical Infrastructure
Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £50,000 £65,000 + benefits (depending on experience)
A well-established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team, delivering essential works across a major power and utilities framework .
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor whos ready to take on more responsibility, work within a strong commercial team, and develop their expertise across both civil and electrical infrastructure projects.
The Role:
Youll play a key role in managing costs, supporting project delivery, and ensuring strong commercial performance under the NEC suite of contracts. Working alongside senior commercial leads, youll gain exposure to complex infrastructure works and long-term framework delivery.
Key Responsibilities as a Quantity Surveyor:
Support the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account.
Assist with the administration of NEC contracts and ensure compliance with company processes.
Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations, and variations.
Contribute to accurate forecasting, cost reporting, and commercial risk management.
Work closely with project managers and engineers to deliver successful outcomes.
About You:
Experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in civil engineering, utilities, or electrical infrastructure.
Strong understanding of NEC contracts .
Ideally degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
Confident communicator with a collaborative approach.
Keen to develop within a progressive, technically strong infrastructure team.
