About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and forward-thinking school in Sheffield. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive daily rate of GBP95GBP105, depending on experience.
You will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social/emotional challenges. Your role will be vital in helping students access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Support classroom activities and behaviour management
Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals when required
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEN (school-based or other settings)
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
