The Role:
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Bispham Campus. This is a key role in delivering a high-quality, value-for-money food and beverage service that supports the wellbeing of our students, staff, and visitors.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a Catering Assistant, you will support the smooth day-to-day operation of the catering unit. Your key duties will include:
2. Preparing and serving drinks, snacks, and beverages in line with Starbucks menus and service standards.
3. Maintaining high standards of food production, hygiene, and presentation.
4. Minimising waste and ensuring accurate documentation of stock and internal monitoring systems.
5. Operating equipment safely and adhering to food hygiene and safety regulations.
6. Handling cash in accordance with college financial procedures.
7. Supporting occasional functions or services outside normal working hours.
