This role is critical to that expansion.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an ambitious, commercially driven Sales Manager to build, launch, and manage MUOV's UK premium retail network.
You will be responsible for:
Identifying and onboarding best-in-class retail partners
Building a network of up to 40 high-end locations (initial phase)
Managing partner performance and in-store growth
Driving retail sell-through supported by MUOV's drop-shipping model
This is a hybrid hunter–farmer role — combining new business acquisition with network performance management. You will play a pivotal role in scaling MUOV's physical retail presence at a defining moment in the company's journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Network Acquisition
Identify, prospect, and secure high-end cycling and performance retailers
Target premium, brand-aligned partners (not volume outlets)
Lead commercial negotiations and onboarding agreements
Develop regional launch plans for new partners
Account Management & Growth
Manage and nurture relationships across the retail network
Deliver training to store teams on product, technology, and positioning
Drive in-store engagement, demonstrations, and events
Monitor sales performance and implement growth plans
Channel Development
Build a scalable UK and European retail structure (initially up to 40 locations)
Ensure retail environments reflect MUOV's premium brand standards
Work closely with marketing on POS, displays, and campaigns
Drop-Shipping & Operational Alignment
Support retailers operating within MUOV's direct fulfilment model
Ensure seamless customer purchase and delivery experience
Liaise with operations and logistics teams
Field Leadership
Maintain a strong presence across partner locations
Represent MUOV at retail activations and industry events
Provide weekly reporting and insights to senior leadership
Internal Collaboration
Attend weekly meetings at MUOV HQ
Feed market intelligence into product, marketing, and leadership teams
Contribute to wider commercial strategy
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who combines premium brand sensitivity with commercial intensity. This is not a transactional sales role — it requires storytelling, education, and partnership building around a world-class product.
Essential Skills & Experience
Sales & Commercial
Proven track record in B2B or retail channel sales
Experience opening and managing multi-location retail accounts
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Pipeline development and territory planning expertise
Forecasting and revenue management capability
Relationship Management
Exceptional account management skills
Ability to influence senior retail stakeholders
Long-term partnership development mindset
High emotional intelligence and communication skills
Premium Brand Experience
Background in premium / luxury / performance brands preferred
Understanding of high-value consumer sales environments
Ability to protect and elevate brand positioning
Industry Knowledge (Desirable but not essential)
Cycling industry experience
Fitness tech or connected equipment
Sports performance or endurance markets
Operational & Commercial Execution
Experience working with drop-ship or fulfilment partners
Understanding of retail sales journeys
CRM usage and sales reporting
Contract and commercial terms familiarity

Compensation & Incentives
Basic Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 Plus Bonus
OTE Year 1: £75,000+
