Your experience You’ll need at least three years of solid experience operating CNC routers and fibre laser machines in a production or signage environment. You should be comfortable using software like VCarve, CYP Cut, SignLAB, and Smart Carve 5. A strong ability to read technical drawings and work with a range of substrates is essential. We’re looking for someone with a practical mindset, a good understanding of production processes, and a strong commitment to safe working practices. What you’ll be doing with your experience You’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a range of CNC equipment, including: 3-axis flatbed CNC router Fibre laser cutter CNC laser cutter (mainly for acrylics) Waterjet cutting systemYou’ll be working from production drawings, selecting appropriate materials, and producing high-quality signage components with a clean, accurate finish. Machine maintenance, housekeeping, and contributing to a safe, efficient working environment are also key parts of the role. You’ll play an important role in keeping standards high and projects on track.
