Bodyshop Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA)
1. Location: Nottingham
2. Basic Salary circa £40,000 (varies with experience)
3. Plus bonuses, OTE £45,000.
4. Working Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
5. No weekends.
6. Insurance approved bodyshop.
7. ATA Training Provider.

Responsibilities of this Vehicle Damage Assessor include:
8. Conducting damage assessments on vehicles, working with customers, insurance adjusters, and repair shops to determine the extent of damage, and estimating repair costs.
9. Creating and submitting repair estimates, negotiating with insurance companies, and ensuring that all repairs meet industry standards.
10. Oversee repair process and communicate progress updates to customers and other stakeholders.
11. Overall, your responsibility as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator for our client would be to provide accurate damage assessments, excellent customer service, and ensure that all repairs are completed to a high standard.
To become a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator, you'll typically need to have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
12. Have a working knowledge of estimating in a bodyshop / accident repair environment.
13. Have experience and confidence in using Audatex.
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
15. Good communication and customer service skills.
16. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
17. Proficiency in using computer software for estimating and invoicing purposes.
18. Knowledge of insurance industry practices and regulations.
19. A relevant qualification in Damage Assessing, ideally ATA however this can be provided.
