Digital Asset Officer and Video Editor
Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Asset Officer and Video Editor to join our team based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester. The role is full-time, initially on a 1-year fixed-term contract with a possibility of permanency.
Human Appeal is a faith-based charity aiming to eradicate poverty through humanitarian aid, sustainable development, and advocacy for our beneficiaries worldwide.
The successful candidate will manage and administer the DAM (Digital Asset Management) system for the Communications department, including uploading assets, analyzing data, and training users. They will also undertake filming and editing duties, working with various departments and traveling to the field for shoots, to produce impactful marketing material that supports the charity’s goals and revenue.

Key duties and responsibilities:
* Maintain and update the DAM system, upload assets accurately and promptly.
* Create user accounts and provide training on system utilization.
* Manage content metadata, vetting, archiving, and data analysis.
* Produce and edit video content for multiple channels, ensuring engagement and alignment with HA’s values.
Qualifications and experience:
* Degree in Film & Post Production, Media, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience.
* 1-2 years’ relevant experience, including digital content project management.
* Skills: Familiarity with DAM systems, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, databases, digital content standards, and a passion for international development.
