* Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage with scientists, engineers and non‑technical personnel clearly and confidently
* Analytical Thinking: Comfortable working with data, identifying risks, and solving problems creatively
* Team Collaborator: Ability to work effectively within a team but also independently
* Organisation & Time Management: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Initiative & Curiosity: Eager to take ownership, ask questions and seek opportunities to grow
* Customer Focus: Experience of working with customers is beneficial – not necessarily in an engineering role; retail or hospitality experience is also suitable
* Flexibility: Willingness to engage in new skill areas or to travel to client sites
Qualifications
* Completed an undergraduate or, preferably, a master's degree in Physics or a discipline related to physics by summer 2026
* A permanent right to work in the UK
* Baseline security clearance is required, as a minimum, for this role
* Completed your first degree no earlier than the summer of 2024
* Not worked in a similar professional role since graduation
* Achieved a minimum 2:2 in your first degree
