To provide an efficient reception service, provide advice and guidance to customers and visitors on behalf of Cheshire West and Chester Council Have a flexible daily approach to queries as they present themselves. Excellent at problem solving and willing to undertake operational tasks. Provide cover during absence as required Be confident to deal with general queries and complaints. Monitor and maintain administrative systems and ensure that all records are maintained in a secure and accurate manner. Build excellent working relationships with Cheshire West and Chester Council customers, staff, tenants, and partners. Ensure that the physical working environment is safe and secure. Deliver a reception service, greet, welcome and register visitors to the office between 08.30-17:00hrs Monday – Friday. Deal with difficult customers, complaints, and queries, following escalation routes where required. Receipt and safekeeping of confidential and sensitive information, post, and parcels The successful candidate will be dynamic, have the customer at the heart of everything that they do, work as a team, be proficient in admin and customer service, be able to communicate at all levels and be empathetic.
