Red Bull Powertrains has an exciting opportunity to join the team as we transition from building our team’s first Power Units to refining them into a race-ready package, all aimed at delivering the most competitive car on the 2026 Formula One grid. We are seeking a Composites Assembly Technician to help drive the future of motorsport innovation. You will be based at our state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes, designed to produce high-performance Power Units for the 2026 engine regulations.

The Composite Assembly Technician will be responsible for completing detailed trimming, bonding, and assembling of complex components and assemblies to the highest quality standards, working in accordance with technical drawings and procedures. This also includes managing build specifications and revisions in accordance with Production Control and other Engineering departments to meet tight deadlines. The technician must be dynamic and could assist with other manufacturing assembly tasks as required.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Work with the Manufacturing Shift Lead & Build Team/Group Leaders to understand priorities and deadlines.
2. Understand production plans to ensure delivery dates are achieved and communicate any deviations.
3. Ensure the quality of parts produced by carrying out appropriate processes and identifying deviations from specifications, correcting them when possible.
4. Maintain good communication channels with all shifts and departments for effective work transfer.
5. Prioritize daily workloads to maximize productivity and utilization.
6. Provide feedback for manufacturing improvements, cost reductions, or lead-time reductions.


Key Attributes:

1. Extensive knowledge of composite assembly manufacturing processes (Surface Prep, Trimming, Bonding, etc.).
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to follow objectives, goals, strategies, and measures.
3. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and process sheets.
4. Ability to work under pressure in a team environment and meet tight deadlines.
5. Flexibility to work additional shifts when required.
6. Support for apprentice and junior training programs.
7. Champion continuous improvement within the department.
