We have an exciting opportunity for a Fresh and Retail Standards Coach within our Blakemore Retail division to cover our SPAR stores in the Midlands Area
A day in the life of…
As a Fresh & Retail Standards Coach, you will support store teams and Regional Operations Managers in maintaining excellence across Fresh & Retail operations. Your role focuses on coaching, auditing, and ensuring compliance with food safety, health & safety, and trading standards.
You will drive operational improvements, support franchise compliance (Greggs & Subway), and help embed key retail principles—Brilliant Basics, Moments of Wow, Food for Later, and Food for Now—to enhance customer experience and business performance.

Key Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required
7. Understanding of Natasha’s law
8. Basic IT Skills
9. Good standard of numeracy and literacy
10. Food service experience Inc. Franchise partners
11. Experience in Food safety training
12. Excellent communication skills
13. Self-motivated
14. Flexible
15. Results driven
16. Full UK driving license

17. Salary of up to £33,000 p/a plus bonus opportunity.

19. 26 days holiday per year (Increasing after 3 years) + 8 bank holidays in lieu as per working rota.
20. Whilst the company does not recognise customary holidays, additional payments are made for the following, for working a minimum of 8 hours (Christmas Day,Boxing Day, New Years Day & Easter Monday)
