Yard Operative with FLT
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative with FLT to join our well-established client based in West Bromwich, West Midlands.

Shifts:
• Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00
• Friday: 07:00 – 14:30
• Overtime available before and after shifts

Day-to-Day Duties:
• Operate a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
• Load, unload, and move materials around the yard and warehouse
• Conduct pre-use safety inspections and report any faults to management
• Receive and check incoming goods for accuracy and quality
• Assist with general yard duties such as tidying, organising stock, and preparing loads
• Support warehouse operations as required
• Adhere to all site health and safety procedures at all times
Essential Skills:
• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
• Proven experience operating a Counterbalance truck
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail
• Reliable, self-motivated, and adaptable
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Desirable Experience:
• Previous experience working in a yard or warehouse environment
Training Provided:
• Full training provided – assessment required prior to start
