Vickerstock are working in partnership with a manufacturing business on the appointment of a Purchasing Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. This is a brand new position for a junior procurement professional who is ready to make that next step upwards in their career. This is an excellent chance for someone to gain experience in a major manufacturer in County Tyrone. As the Purchasing Assistant, you will support the Senior Buyer and SC Manager to assist with procuring a wide range of engineering and electrical products from local and global suppliers to support production with an increased demand for their top quality product range. Benefits: Preparing and processing purchase orders. Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods. Managing materials orders, chase purchase orders and expedite deliveries Communicating with suppliers and vendors. Maintaining supplier relationships and identify new suppliers. Negotiating prices and delivery dates. Updating systems to keep all relevant parties informed of order status and any delays.
