Job Summary
The Environmental Advisor will be the environmental focal point for Dana’s UK operations providing the company with support and guidance regarding environmental compliance and the identification & management of environmental risks.
Being an active member of the HSSE team you will help deliver Dana’s business objectives by ensuring the highest standards of environmental performance are maintained.
Occasional short duration offshore trips will be required.

4. Familiarise with the One Dana Management System and its meaning for day-to-day work;
5. Familiarise with the work and be aware of all associated risks for People, the Environment, Assets and Reputation (PEAR);
6. Report any incident, near miss, hazards (unsafe acts/situations) and improvement suggestions;
7. Know their roles and responsibilities;
8. Actively participate in any job or HSEQ training or instruction by or on behalf of Dana Petroleum;
9. Use all provided means as intended and according to their purpose

Job specific skills and
knowledge
Essential
17. Demonstrable experience with oil and gas environmental issues
18. Familiar with the PETS system
19. Offshore survival certification (or willingness to achieve this)
20. Science degree (other backgrounds considered if supported with relevant experience)
Preferable
21. Experience with atmospherics compliance; ETS & PPC
22. Experience with EEMS
23. A good working knowledge and experience in environmental related UK legislation (on and offshore) and industry best practices
24. Previous experience as an Environmental Advisor for an offshore operator
