Description
* Supervise and manage the purchase ledger function to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Oversee invoice processing and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
* Monitor and maintain accurate records of purchase ledger transactions.
* Assist in month-end closing activities and reporting related to accounts payable.
* Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
* Collaborate with other departments to resolve purchase order and invoice queries.
* Implement and maintain best practices within the purchase ledger process.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Specialist should have:
* Previous experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable roles within the manufacturing industry.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
