Engagement & partnerships lead

Thrive Tribe
Posted: 8 June
Offer description

Thrive Tribe creates long-term habit and behaviour change through a range of lifestyle and wellbeing programmes.

Join us on our journey to empower over a million people to change their behaviours and thrive!

At Thrive Tribe we deliver award-winning healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that make people happier and healthier! Smokefree Hampshire is a smoking cessation service, which supports residents to quit smoking, vaping or nicotine use through a flexible, free 12-week programme, combining behavioural support with Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT).

As we begin our second year, and with exciting plans in the pipeline, we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Engagement & Partnerships Lead to join us

Like all roles at Thrive Tribe, you can expect your time at work to be fun, varied and challenging. We don’t like to stick to a firm JD as we know from experience that things change throughout the lifetime of a role and it gives our people the chance to play to their strengths.

A typical day as an Engagement & Partnerships Lead might include :

* Liaising with external organisations to build effective partnerships and promotion of the service, particularly within primary care locations, voluntary and community services.

* Working in partnership with the Marketing Lead to successfully implement engagement events as part of the wider marketing and communications strategy and activation plans.

* Ensuring you and your team adopt a highly targeted approach to outreach, engagement, stakeholder relationship management and referral generation, with a particular focus on service priority groups and populations.

* Managing the roll out, development and continual evaluation of the learning and development strategy for service partners.

* Ensuring the community outreach vehicle is used strategically to support outreach activities and is operationally managed.

* Line management of the Engagement & Partnerships Officer and Primary Care Liaison Officer, supporting them in their role and managing their performance efficiently and in line with our values.

* Establishing effective and reliable referral relationships with local community and health partners from a variety of settings, including GPs, hospital trusts, mental health trust and voluntary organisations.

* Working with the Head of Service and the Subcontractor Lead to effectively manage relationships.

* Generating and sharing performance feedback, referral and outcome data with primary and secondary care settings.

* Leading our approach to co-production within the community.

* Working with the Marketing Lead to create bespoke resources to support outreach activity.

* Working with the Marketing Lead to manage the service LinkedIn page, ensuring regular content sharing and engaging with partner organisations.
Working with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments – we’re always looking to share knowledge and resources!

* Ensuring due consideration is given to our Safeguarding, Information Governance and Clinical Governance policies and procedures. To ensure safer recruitment and safeguarding for all we adopt pre-employment processes, including DBS checks.

* Helping us maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values!

About you...

More than anything, we are looking for a team player who puts their heart in to their work. We’ve got some core values that run through everything we do, and we’d love it if they resonate with you too!

Be the change

You like helping people. You’ll be working with those who need help the most, empowering them to make positive changes to thrive.

Be effective

You’re patient and can adapt under pressure. Always happy to make time for other people. And have a great attitude.

Be happy

You recognise the power of a smile. You value a fun, supportive workplace and want to come to work raring to go (check out our rating on Glassdoor).

Be successful

You are motivated and driven. Happy working solo or as part of a team, you love meeting targets. And will be given opportunities to contribute and develop your career.

Be big-hearted

You want to make a difference. Working with a like-minded team of optimistic people, we want the same thing to do meaningful work and change lives.

To work with us in this role, you will need to have knowledge or experience in partnership working, stakeholder engagement, referral generation and/or healthcare engagement activity, as well as an understanding of health inequalities and approaches to engaging underserved communities into health improvement services.

Bonus points if you have experience working with GP practices, Primary Care Networks (PCNs), pharmacies or wider healthcare systems!

We are looking for an outstanding Engagement & Partnerships Lead, working across Hampshire. If you have experience building relationships within health, wellbeing or community services, then we’d love to hear from you!

However, we hire based on attitude over traditional skills and experience so if you feel you are right for the job please submit an application.
