Pay Rate: £100 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Job Description:
Teaching Personnel’s partner school in Tiverton is seeking a 1:1 Outdoor SEN Learning Support Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an outdoor learning environment. The successful candidate will assist in delivering nature-based education to help students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs develop confidence, resilience, and essential life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 support to students with SEN during outdoor learning sessions
* Assist in planning and adapting activities to meet individual needs
* Build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
* Monitor, record, and report on student progress
* Ensure the safety and well-being of students during all activities
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience supporting children with SEN (preferred but not essential)
* Understanding of diverse learning needs and adaptive support methods
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Passion for outdoor education and inclusion
* Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training
