Job Summary
The Operational Excellence Team Leader plays a critical role in leading a team of Serious Injury paralegals towards delivery of operational, customer and financial performance. This position requires a proactive individual who can lead, coach and mentor individuals. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a culture of growth, engagement, excellent customer service and performance
Duties
1. Ensure recruitment and resource plans are effectively managed to deliver performance and taking the lead with all paralegal recruitment and onboarding
2. Working with performance data to identity gaps in performance and work with the Fee Earners and paralegals to address any gaps in knowledge and to create bespoke training programs where necessary to support the paralegals
3. Work with the paralegals on the paralegal progression programme, carrying out 1-2-1 meetings with them to discuss progress and support colleagues with their Personal Growth and Development Plans and facilitate activity to fulfil the plans where possible
4. Liaise with colleagues on a day-to-day basis, making sure that they are being allocated work from their dedicated Fee Earner

5. Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams.
6. Proficient in analysing data and processes to drive improvements.
7. Ability to lead with integrity, be respectful of all colleague opinions
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
9. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
10. Strong interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration among team members.
Essential Skills and Experience
11. Previous experience of leading teams and managing performance, ideally in a professional services environment
12. IT Skills - Microsoft Office
13. Experienced in the use and interpretation of MI and data
