The Role: Main Duties and Responsibilities: In an operational/functional capacity: • Attend HHG surveys within the UK and Europe as required • Competently assess HHG and plan moves globally • Accurately upload volumes and all relevant move details to ascent • Ensure proper administration of survey results with relevant communication to stakeholders • Liaise with Client Services and Supply Chain on all operational aspects • Attend QC’s and Site Managements within the UK and Europe as required • Prepare and pre-plan work, particularly client and assignee awareness pre-survey • Stakeholder awareness (internal, assignee & corporate) • Commercial awareness (costings, margins, bid summaries, credit control) • Advise assignees on Insurance Process, High value items and exclusions to policy • Conduct vendors site visits / meetings • Various work on non-corporate business as and when required • Any other tasks as required by the needs of the business Experience: Skills / Abilities & Knowledge In an operational capacity: • Knowledge of weights and volume assessments for HHG • Knowledge of global transportation processes by any method • Knowledge of global governance relating to shipping (customs requirements) • Ability to document clearly & accurately • Experience of working with various currencies • Knowledge of electrical appliances • Customer service skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders. • Ability to organise and prioritise daily/weekly tasks • Attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to meet deadlines • Ability to listen, understand and note information that is communicated during surveys • Adaptable to change and works well under pressure • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) • Possess a pro-active mindset Accountability: GDPR & ISO Essential • Hold a valid, in date driving licence that allows you to legally drive in the UK • Access to your own motorised vehicle/transport Other Information Equal Opportunities: K2 has a strong commitment to achieving equality of opportunity and expects all employees to implement and promote this in their own work.
