Astute's Renewables team are partnering with an established agricultural business who own and operate an anaerobic digestion plant to compliment their farming and animal rearing business. We're looking to recruit a Plant Operator for a site near Melton Mowbray. The Plant Operator will play a vital role in ensuring the day to day running of the plant.
The Plant Operator role comes with a salary up to £35,000 with additional benefits to be discussed at interview stage.

Responsibilities and duties of the Plant Operator role
Reporting to the Plant Manager you will:
1. Day to day operations on the Anaerobic Digestion plant
2. Being part of an on call rota
3. Operating the plant using SCADA/DCS systems, ensuring performance is stable via the control screens
4. Completing routine site checks, reading and sampling
5. Visual inspections and fault finding on plant and equipment
6. Carrying out first line maintenance, such as basic isolations and component changes
7. Feeding fuel/feedstock into the plant using hoppers
8. Operating a telehandler on site
