What You’ll Be Doing:
* Conduct online consultations to assess patient suitability for GLP-1 weight loss treatments.
* Prescribe medications in line with internal protocols, risk assessments, and clinical SOPs.
* Support patients from initial assessment to ongoing care and maintenance, ensuring continuity and safety throughout their weight loss journey.
* Educate patients on medication use, possible side effects, expectations, and lifestyle guidance.
* Maintain accurate and compliant patient records in line with legal and clinical standards.
* Collaborate with a team of experienced pharmacist prescribers to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
* Respond to patient queries regarding their treatment, progress, and next steps, offering guidance and reassurance where needed.
What You’ll Bring:
* GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
* Qualification as an Independent Prescriber (IP)
* Previous prescribing experience is desirable
* Experience prescribing GLP-1s is desirable
* Familiarity with GPhC guidelines for online pharmacies and the current clinical guidelines for prescribing of injectable weight loss treatments
* Excellent attention to detail and patient safety
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Genuine interest in weight management and a passion for improving access to healthcare
