Payments Assistant (Hybrid) needed in West Bridgford, £12.85ph PAYE - Reference: OR11234
* Working hours will be from 8:00-9:00am and finishing at 4:00/5:00pm, once fully trained. During training, start time will be between 8:30-9:00am.
* After training, the worker will have the option to work from home 2-3 days a week.
1. Perform finance and clerical tasks according to business standards and processes, maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding.
2. Create, process, and review purchase orders and invoices to ensure compliance with Financial Regulations, departmental procedures, and statutory guidance.
3. Resolve queries from suppliers, service users, external agencies, and staff related to this role.
4. Process payments and recover overpayments from internal carers using bespoke IT software.
5. Conduct financial assessments for carers meeting eligibility criteria for specific allowances.
6. Provide advice and guidance to internal and external customers regarding the role's responsibilities.
7. Maintain manual and digital information systems to ensure efficient processing of financial data and reports.
8. Perform accountancy and reconciliation duties.
This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
