About the Role
The Service Development team was established in order to design, deliver, and govern change across Operations. Our remit has recently expanded to include Sales Enablement support (often referred to as ‘order to cash’ operational processes) cross-divisionally, which includes proactive monitoring of operational processes & KPIs, issue identification & resolution (‘Run’) and the delivery of change to support commercial and/or operational goals. This role will support the existing Customer & Sales Enablement team within Service Development across both ‘Run’ (BaU) and ‘Change’ priorities.
You will support the ‘Run’ and will be responsible for tracking and managing BAU issues and incidents to successful resolution, working closely with divisional Sales teams and Technology colleagues (OUP and Cognizant). The role holder will also support in other BAU activities, including overseeing the EDI process, and reporting on KPIs and other areas as required.
You will also play a key role in proactively identifying process development opportunities as well as responding to requests for change from other stakeholders, both within and outside of Operations. This role will support the Process Development Leads across Customer and Sales Enablement in developing and maintaining key documentation as it relates to the process, documenting and triaging ideas for change, articulating the business impact of any change proposals, documenting workarounds for their functions, defining test plans, co-ordinating functional test resources as part of any solution testing, and supporting the delivery of change and training for their functional end users including the maintenance of key process documentation.
We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. This role can be based in either Kettering or Oxford.
About You
1. Specialist experience and understanding of the functional process area, within and across the SAP S4 Hana landscape.
2. Possesses an analytical mindset and can draw clear insight and conclusions to inform actionable next steps, used to working with data e.g. service/process metrics.
3. Skilled communicator and excellent stakeholder manager, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Solutions-focused, practical and pragmatic.
5. Excellent written & verbal communication skills, able to translate complex problems or opportunities to enable understanding and decision making at multiple levels of an organisation.
6. Experience in designing and delivering change management for small-medium complexity change initiatives and/or basic training resources is desirable.
7. Experience in documenting and maintaining process documentation or awareness of standards and methods (e.g. BPMN, Visio etc).
8. Experience operating in a matrix environment, able to rely on influence as a core skill.
9. Experience and understanding of the importance of change management as a discipline. PROSCI qualified or equivalent experience desirable.
