Job Description This role is an exciting opportunity to work within our Oracle Fusion Applications business leading a Public Sector sales team. This is a growing business area and team, with the responsibility of managing 7 net new sales reps. There are key pipline opportunities for this team in the coming year and an exciting time to be part of such an expanding business. The team focus on new business across areas of the UK Public Sector including; Central Gov, Local Gov, Police, Higher Education and Not For Profit. Responsibilities What you’ll do As a Sales Director you will manage an experienced team of new business sales representatives. You will be responsible for driving team revenue and growth, as well and driving individuals through their sales careers. For this role we require someone who has sold Applications Software successfully at rep level and has also managed sales teams previously to success! Lead sales teams to accelerate growth and exceed customer expectations Drive Oracles Applications strategy for net new sales in the territory Manage a team of Applications Account Executives Ensure robust pipeline coverage and optimise demand generation campaigns Monitor and review sales forecasts, activities and close plans, taking correct action when needed Measure, analyse, track and report business metrics to achieve targets and identify improvement areas Leverage experience and knowledge to drive business priorities Drive productivity and participation across the team to meet annual quotas Develop long term relationships with senior level customers and partners Lead all opportunities including top deals of the quarter Act as an escalation point for issues when they arise Collaborate with support functions such as Marketing, Alliances, Client Engagement and Industry Teams Maintain a fully staffed team by retaining and hiring top sales talent Prior sales managerial experience for this role LI-Hybrid: to work in London or Reading when required Why work at Oracle Join a global workplace where you can make an impact.
