Responsibilities
You will support projects across our Information Resilience and Electronic Warfare portfolios, reporting to a Software Engineering Lead in a cross‑functional team. Your duties will include the design, development and implementation of software for embedded systems, control and real‑time applications; integration of the developed software onto target hardware; and devising appropriate test procedures, both informal and formal, to prove correct operation.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop technical skills across multiple projects while making a meaningful contribution.

What You’ll Bring
* On track to achieve at least a 2:1 in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar discipline.
* Experience with C and/or C++ is ideal; Python, Rust and/or C# are also advantageous.
* Appreciation of Continuous Integration and DevOps tools such as GitLab/Jenkins.
* Willingness to learn and a tenacious approach to problem solving.
* Strong interpersonal skills and a self‑starter – able to work as part of a team as well as using your own initiative.
* A demonstrable passion for engineering and technology, keeping up to date with latest innovations.
