We are seeking a compassionate and professional Funeral Director to oversee and coordinate funeral services with dignity and respect. Duties
* Meet with bereaved families to discuss funeral arrangements, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
* Organise and oversee funeral ceremonies, including liaising with clergy, celebrants, and venue staff.
* Prepare and handle deceased bodies with care, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Coordinate transportation of the deceased, including loading and unloading with heavy lifting as required.
* Manage administrative tasks such as documentation, permits, and liaising with relevant authorities.
* Ensure all aspects of the funeral service are executed smoothly, from logistics to presentation.
* Maintain a respectful and professional demeanour at all times, representing the organisation positively within the community.

* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to client interactions.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling caskets or equipment.
* Strong attention to detail to ensure all arrangements are accurate and appropriate.
* Good physical stamina to manage the demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to handling deceased bodies is desirable but not essential; training will be provided where necessary.
