ElecTech Solutions Ltd, part of the Asteroceras Group, is establishing a new MetOcean (Meteorological & Oceanographic) business division and is seeking a MetOcean Engineer with an entrepreneurial mindset to help build and grow this capability.
This is a varied role combining engineering, data analysis, client engagement, and hands-on field work, offering the opportunity to directly influence how the division develops from day one.
Key responsibilities include:
* Deployment, maintenance, and operation of MetOcean monitoring systems
* Offshore and coastal field work, including installations and maintenance
* Processing, analysis, and interpretation of MetOcean data
* Supporting the development of new services, proposals, and client solutions
About you:
* Degree or equivalent experience in MetOcean, oceanography, meteorology, or marine engineering
* Experience with MetOcean instrumentation and datasets
* Comfortable working independently and in the field
* Commercially aware, curious, and motivated to build something new
