Student Recruitment Operations Manager Recruitment, Communications & Marketing Professional & Business Support Grade 7 - £39,906 to £44,746 per annum (depending on experience) The University is refreshing its strategy, and has set out an ambitious programme of change for the future, centred around financial stability, our academic offer, and our organisational agility. This role will join our Student Recruitment Operations team. As Student Recruitment Operations Manager you'll be responsible for leading, managing and developing Student Recruitment Operations, ensuring high impact, customer focused activities supporting the University in fulfilling its student recruitment ambitions across all markets. This role is ideal for leaders passionate about empowering and supporting students to make informed decisions about Higher Education. Applying specialist knowledge and expert advice to deliver large-scale, critical recruitment activities and multi-channel enquiries, including risk management and issue escalation. Collaborating and maintaining partnerships with external organisations and internal colleagues to enhance services ensuring continuous improvement, inclusivity and ‘best in class’ service. Supporting resource and budget planning for operational and strategic activities, facilitating annual and long-term planning, including budget proposals and business case development. We are looking for someone experienced in team leadership and management, event and complex project delivery. Skilled in providing expert advice to senior managers and stakeholders, managing multi-channel customer service operations, and willing to work evenings and weekends. Knowledgeable in Higher Education policies, regulatory compliance, and studying within Higher Education. and opportunities to pursue a rewarding and fulfilling career in a supportive environment. You will be contractually enrolled into the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) Scheme one of the largest and most generous defined benefit pension schemes in the country. Each year you will earn a secure pension benefit of 1/49th of your salary and the University will pay pension contributions towards the cost of this pension (currently worth about 21% of your salary). For a salary of £40,000, for example, the University would pay just over £8,300 in the first year of your employment and you would earn a pension of £816 p.a. for that year (payable from your State Pension Age).
