Paraplanner
Location: Harrogate
Salary £40k to £43k DOE, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

Role Overview: The Paraplanner will provide technical support to a team of advisers, ensuring clients receive a positive professional experience. This includes report writing support, production of suitability reports based on client needs, and assisting the Paraplanning team in maintaining up-to-date report templates and models.
Paraplanner Job Responsibilities:
* Assist in the provision of fully compliant, potentially complex reports, including analysis, research, and product recommendations for presentation to clients.
* Conduct research for asset allocation on clients' existing portfolios, quantifying and analysing existing investments.
* Obtain valuations, quotations, and complete supporting application documentation.
* Provide advice within a strict ethical and compliance framework under the guidance of the Compliance Manager and internal policies and procedures.
* Manage own workload and provide updates to the line manager.
* Commit to continuous personal development and retain supporting records.
* Perform any other duties as may reasonably be required.
* Adhere to Consumer Duty outcomes.
Job Requirements:
* Minimum Level 4 Diploma Qualified Paraplanner, ideally with 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
* Experience in writing and compiling very technical suitability reports, coupled with solid research experience.
* Career-focused Paraplanner.
* Experience with pension switching and transfer products is highly beneficial.
* Cashflow forecasting experience is advantageous.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
