Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
* Provide high-quality, evidence-based medical care to the practice population.
* Work as an autonomous practitioner and make appropriate clinical decisions in response to presenting conditions.
* Contribute to the clinical workload and work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.
* Adhere to practice policies, procedures and clinical governance requirements.
* Engage in audit, quality improvement and the development of best practice.
* Participate in practice meetings and multidisciplinary discussions.
* Comply with the appraisal and revalidation processes.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* GMC registration and licence to practise
* Qualified GP with recognised Certificate of Completion of Training
* Commitment to providing high quality, patient centred care
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach to clinical work
* Experience working in a primary care setting
* Experience with SystmOne
* Interest in education and involvement in GP trainee development
