Applegreen is the majority shareholder of Welcome Break. We are working together to find a new Director of Technology for the Applegreen business. This is a Group IT level role looking after our businesses across all the geographical Applegreen regions.
The focus of this role will be to build a strategic roadmap with the business; bringing in new technologies and further enhancing the current platforms with a view to driving better engagement with our customers and colleagues, ultimately making their journey and interaction with us clearer, simpler and faster
Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and with the rapid pace of the changing technology landscape we are looking for an experienced and self-motivated digital technology director to join our team and support the business on building a world class experience for our customers on how they engage and interact with us through technology.
The focus of this role will be to build a strategic roadmap with the business bringing in new technologies or further enhancing what we have that will drive better engagement with our customers and colleagues ultimately making their journey and interaction with us clearer, simpler and faster.
* Developing, implementing, and managing an organization’s customer facing omnichannel digital strategy, aligning it with business objectives at a group level and then localising at a regional level.
* Leading digital transformation initiatives by integrating existing technologies, developing new digital solutions, and using data analytics to drive insights.
* Assessing the company’s business models and processes for digital opportunities to reduce costs, improve customer experiences, drive revenue, and increase operational efficiency.
* Overseeing the development of new digital products and services, like mobile ordering, kiosks, SCO, digital signage, loyalty, customer analytics, website.
· Using data and analytics to understand customer behaviour and drive decision-making when building experience based digital solution.
* Establishing collaborative partnerships with external vendors, customers, and stakeholders to drive innovation and customer experience.
* Monitoring industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for the company’s future digital growth.
* Developing metrics and KPIs to track the progress and performance of digital initiatives for an effective digital innovation ecosystem.
* Develop programmes to implement transformational change which will enable the organisation to deliver products and services which are efficient and highly effective of high-quality and user-centred
* Create and embed a prioritisation approach to develop a roadmap for innovation with the relevant processes, tools and metrics to support business objectives and new growth opportunities
