About the Practice
Eglinton Family Practice is looking for a forward-thinking, proactive and highly organised Practice Manager to join our team.
We are a young, enthusiastic 6 Partner Training Practice serving a growing practice population of approximately 6800 patients.
We are located within a modern, purpose-built building set within the leafy grounds of Ayrshire Central Hospital, and have a diverse and unique portfolio of enhanced services suiting the varied skillset of the clinical team.
We are supported by an excellent reception and administrative team, as well as health-board employed Pharmacy team, MSK Practitioner, Mental Health Practitioner, Community Link Worker and attached District nursing and Health Visitor teams. Our dedicated multidisciplinary team works hard together to provide the highest standards of patient-centred care.
Our GP partners are all involved in our highly regarded and highly accredited GP training programme and have a wide range of Doctors in training, including medical students, FY2s and GPs at various stages of the GP Specialist Trainee programme.
Job Summary
Our new Practice Manager will work alongside the 6 Partners to provide leadership and management in delivering safe and effective patient care. They will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the practice, as well as ensuring good communication between all members of the multi-disciplinary team. We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate strong leadership and a good team spirit amongst staff and have a passion for motivating a team through periods of growth and change. We envisage our newly appointed Practice Manager to be integral to our team and be confident in driving change to ensure the Practice's growth and sustainability over the coming years.
Experience in primary care would be desirable but remain open-minded to the right candidate with proven experience in a management or leadership role.
Practice Manager Salary negotiable dependant on experience and skillset. The candidate would have access to NHS Pension. .
